Faculty members

Yau W. Wah

Professor, Department of Physics, Enrico Fermi Institute, University of Chicago

(Quoting one student): Professor Wah is really enthousiastic about his research. Still, he is able to find enough time for teaching activities, so that his enthousiasm for physics is spread among the students.

Postdoctoral fellows

Jiasen (Jason) Ma

      Ph.D., University of Chicago, 2009

If you asked anyone in our group what do we do when we get stuck in our work, you would get the same answer: We know that we can ask Jason for advice, and it always helps. Therefore, he can be called the "firefighter" in our group. He also participates in solving problems that can occur to the main project.
