The broader UChicago ATLAS group (including engineers, computer scientists, multiple faculty, etc) meets every Monday for brief news topics and one focused update from members of the group. Every Monday at lunch time we gather for lunch on the 3rd floor of MCP. We often have an informal speaker to lead a discussion on current topics, tell us about new research, or discuss plans for new directions.
