The broader UChicago ATLAS group (including engineers, computer scientists, multiple faculty, etc) meets every Monday for brief news topics and one focused update from members of the group. We cycle through the group, so any individual usually gives an update every few months. The agenda may be found under the (protected) UChicago TWiki
Every Monday afternoon there is a dedicated seminar on current topics in particle physics and closely related fields. Please see the information here:
here on the Seminars listhost page.
Every Monday at lunch time we gather for lunch on the 3rd floor of MCP. We often have an informal speaker to lead a discussion on current topics, tell us about new research, or discuss plans for new directions.
Join us for lunch! To receive announcements, sign-up here on the Seminars listhost page.
Every day is a great day for science; on a typical afternoon, in between running our experiments, building upgrades, and analyzing data, you'll find us discussing physics.
