Dear UC ATLAS group,
US-ATLAS management maintains a database of all the personnel working on
ATLAS and funded by DOE or NSF...it is called OPPA.
There is a record for each person, including demographic info. In the
past we (PIs) entered demographic info for every member of our team, but
it needs to be reviewed and edited or verified by each of you.
Please follow the instructions below. Note that you need an OPPA account
in order to see your info...that means most of you will have to create
an account by "forgot password".
Also note that the email you use is linked to your database entry which
the PI listed...so if you don't exist, try another email address.
Here are the US-ATLAS instructions.

................
To enter in your demographic information, please go to the OPPA
database, https://oppa.bnl.gov/ <https://oppa.bnl.gov/>, and navigate to
your entry.
First time OPPA users: Click on "Forgot your password ?" at the bottom
and create a new password. _Strict password protocols are now followed_.
Instructions can be found on the password page. If your email address is
not recognized, it is likely that your original address recorded in the
database is different than the one you are trying to log in with. You
must use the original address to log in.
Click on the "Edit" link next to "User Details".
At the right you will see a box for demographic information to be input
or confirmed.
When you are finished, please click "Save" at the top right.
If needed, a help page for OPPA is available at
https://po.usatlas.bnl.gov/programoffice/oppa.php
<https://po.usatlas.bnl.gov/programoffice/oppa.php>
All voluntary information that is provided will be kept
strictly confidential. Any public statements will be in statistical
format only and no individual information will be disclosed. This
information is particularly useful for the U.S. ATLAS D&I Committee that
is actively looking for ways to improve inclusion and eliminate implicit
biases. This is an important exercise, one that has been recommended by
our funding agencies. Please consider cooperating to improve this process.
