Dear All,
Here's (attached and below) a draft agenda for the 10 am meeting.
Please look closely-
I hope you can speak if asked. We're continuing trying to rotate among
different areas, so each area may not be covered every week (in the
interest of trying to keep the meetings short, such as it is).
And please make a blog entry so we can see results etc.- there are good
instructions, but if you have trouble please holler to me, Mary, and Matt,
e.g.
Lastly, the Vienna conf. deadline for abstracts is Nov. 16th- a week away.
We really should have some folks go- so think about going (more than
think, plan on going).

0. News -
a. Patrick LeDu (Lyon) and us will have the next Workshop be at
the Laboratoire de Physique corpusculaire (LPC)
Clermont-Ferrand. The dates are 9am Thursday Jan. 28 to noon,
Friday Jan. 29. The focus will be on Ultra-fast electronics,
ASICS (ADC,TDC), systems with a large # of channels, data
reduction, and Trigger and DAQ (ATCA). A web site should go up
this week.
b. Vienna Conference- See http://vci.hephy.at/2010/
Abstracts:The deadline for abstract submission is November 16, 2009.
The selection will be made by the International Scientific Advisory
Committee together with the Organising Committee and will take place
beginning of January 2010. No confirmation can be given before that
date.
Requirements
The abstract must be submitted via the Indico tool (see below). It
should not exceed 1500 characters (including header and empty
lines). In addition, except for the invited talks, it must be
accompanied by one full size page of more detailed information in
order to allow the selection committee to make a sound decision. It
should put the emphasis on new developments or at least reflect the
progress achieved since the last Conference (2007). Please keep in
mind that the presentation time for short talks is 20 minutes
(discussion not included). For invited talks only the abstract is
needed.
Submission Process
Please submit your abstract via the CERN Indico system. It will allow
you to create a new user account, if you did not have already
one.
Suggested Abstracts (I just made these up- feel free to roll your own):
1. Gain and lifetime Measurements of ALD functionalized MCP plates
2. Measurements of SEE and PE for ALD candidates for MCP-PMT's.
3. Results on Expected Gain and Time Resolution in Saturated
MCP Pores.
4. Development of a 20-40 GHz Waveform Sampling Chip for
fast timing measurements
5. The LAPPD Project
