Pulsar project schedule

• April 2002: Finish Pulsar board schematics work, continue layout and board level simulation, continue firmware development; have core firmware ready for simulation with mezzanine cards by early May;

• May 2002: Finish first round Pulsar board level simulation work, finalize the schematics; finish hotlink mezzanine cards (Tx/Rx) prototype testing without Pulsar motherboard;

• June 2002: finish board level simulation and mutli-board level simulation to validate the design... simulation will continue after that as well. finish layout. Pulsar Review(?).

• July. 2002: release Pulsar prototype.... have Pulsar core firmware for teststand ready. start Taxi mezzanine card and AUX card design. start prototype testing software work.

• Aug.-Oct. 2002: testing Pulsar prototype with SLINK test tools and hotlink mezzanine cards; decide if there will be Rev B for Pulsar or not. start hotlink mezzanine cards production if succesful; send out Taxi version mezzanine cards and AUX card;

• ? 2002: if Pulsar prototype testing is sucessful, Pulsar board and hotlink mezzanine cards (and firmware) should be ready for commissioning as Level 2 teststand at B0.... depends on manpower!!
