There are two required text books plus the lab instruction book.
Introductory Nuclear Physics by K. S. Krane is used for the first part of the class on nuclear physics. Introduction to Elementary Particles by D. Griffiths is used for the second part of the course on elementary particle physics.
As of 3/26/06 the book store had a stock of all three items although in limited numbers. I asked that more be ordered and was told they should be available by the end of the first week of the quarter.
