Title:
Search for The Standard Model Production of Triple Heavy Gauge Boson Production

Abstract:

I will present a search for the standard model production of triple

W-boson events at 13 TeV with 35.9/fb of data collected by the CMS

experiment. The final states considered are events wehere either two or

all three W bosons decay leptonically. The analysis includes also

interpretations for beyond standard model physics such as anomalous

quartic couplings results. The motivation of this analysis and its strategy

will be discussed. Details will be given on the reconstruction of the events,

particular the lepton object definition, the event selection, and the

prediction of backgrounds originating from other SM processes.

The results of the standard model search and its reinterpretations will

be shown. Finally, an outlook for the next iteration of this analysis,

including also for other triboson final states will be presented.

Warmly,
