Title:   Experimental elementary particle physics in the EFI - past, present, and future
Abstract: Elementary particle physics has evolved from investigations of a broad spectrum of states to studies of a small number of apparently point-like entities. I will review the role of the EFI group in this evolution, describe some of the key issues of current work and plans for the future.
