Dear all,

We will have lunch seminar today from 12:15 as usual,
and today's speaker is Hang Yin (Fermilab) for D0 W asymmetry measurement.

Regards, Yasu

Title: "Probing Partons with W Asymmetries at DZero"

We present measurements of the W charge asymmetry in both electron and muon
channel at a center of mass energy of 1.96 TeV, using DZero RunII data
collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. Both the
lepton charge asymmetry and the W boson production charge asymmetry are
performed. The lepton charge asymmetry measurements are the most precise to
date. And with the neutrino longitudinal momentum is determined using a
neutrino weighting method, and the W boson asymmetry is measured as a
function of the W boson rapidity. These measurements extends over a wider
electron pseudorapidity region than previous results, and provide a
stringent constraint on the u and d quark PDFs in the proton.
