4/18/2000 - Rich's basis for a cable
installation drawing
4/19/00 - KEL connectors full order to arrive May 24, flat ribbon cable
to arrive May 5
4/19/00 - to be ordered: 8 rack front cable trays, rear fiber support
and protection
5/10/00 - cable set to arrive May 15
5/10/00 - connectors set to arrive May 24
5/10/00 - front cable tray design begining
6/6/00 - full front panel cable connector order has arrived. Rich also has the
front panel cable trays and will install them soon.
7/17/00 - All SVT front panel cables are constructed, entered in database,
with labels being affixed. Eight front panel cable trays mounted.
Rich is making a sketch of the spy cables for Pisa.

11/10/99 (approx) design finalized
11/15/99 (approx) design sent to Rittal

12/20/99 received Rittal drawing for approval,
will check and tell them to proceed
12/21/99 Rich reports Rittal now predicts Jan 24 for
delivery of the production quantities of these front
panels.
2/7/00 - Rich now reports a delivery date of Feb 16 for these panels.
(entirely the manufacturer's fault).
2/8/00 - after more pushing, we now have a promise that these
will be sent overnight on 2/10
2/21/00 - Rich sent the full production order to Pisa
on around 2/14. The shipment ended up at Oxford instead of Pisa.
Rich is working hard to straighten this out.
2/28/00 - Package is at Pisa, Stefano reports the HB front panel
fits great.
3/8/00 - Stefano reports AM fits great too!
SPY
11/01/99 (approx) made one prototype, checked OK
by fitting to the Spy at Chicago
11/23/99 Franco asked for a couple of mods.
12/10/99 (approx) send modified prototype Spy front panel
to Simone and Franco

waiting for Pisa comments
12/29/99 - Franco has reviewed the second prototype of the
front panel in Pisa with the latest Spy board and
reccomends
we widen the byteblaster/EPC2 connector holes.
1/13/00 - Rich has built a third prototype of Spy and we sent it
to Simone in Pisa
1/26/00 - Franco has checked the latest Spy prototype and has
declared it ready for production
2/17/00 - design sent to Rittal to bid.
3/23/00 - Richard has ordered 25 units from ES, due May 5.
4/5/00 - Richard has approved the production drawing
4/19/00 - Spy front panels due May 5
5/10/00 - now set to arrive May 15
5/15/00 -Rich now says 18 out of 25 modules will arrive 5/17, balance 5/31
5/18/00 - Rich received 18/25 Spy, will send them on
6/6/00 - Rich has received the last of these and is sending them on

3/4/00 - Xin has the AMS prototype and approves it for
production with one change to lettering.
3/23/00 - Richard has ordered 25 units from ES, due May 5.

5/10/00 - now set to arrive May 15
5/15/00 -Rich now says 11 out of 25 modules will arrive 5/22,

5/18/00 - Rich recieved 13/25 AMS front panels, will sned them on.
6/600 - RIch has received the last of these and is sending them on
XTF A and B
11/24/99 Simone sent us a
description of the XTF front
panels, we will work from this.

5/17/00 - received 4 XTFA but without latest design.
Rich has 6 XTFB done, will send them on
