Miscellaneous data sets used in the photon-met analysis: (see http://hep.uchicago.edu/cdf/gmet/gmet.html for documentation) ------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Good diphoton dataset: Ntuple format: linux_data0b:[dfernie.gg]gg.nt Desc.: Two photons with PSTAT>5025 (ET > 25), goodrun, etout=0, etc., taken from GGMB- see GMET note 3 on above page. Number of events: 99 2. Gamma-Met dataset: Ntuple format: linux_data0b:[dfernie.gmet]gmet.nt Desc.: One good photon (petc > 25) and Met(4) > 25, etout, etc. Taken from inclusive ``photon-good'' ntuple. See Appendix A of David's Thesis on gmet page for good photon selection. brcode.eq.31 not included in the ntuple. Number of events: 8657 before brcode.eq.31 cut, 8535 after. 3. Old Bad Photon Dataset: Ntuple Format: directory = lunux_data0b:[dfernie.badpho] 1 file with Met(4) > 20: badpho_metgt20.nt 10 files with 10 < Met(4) < 20: badpho_10ltmetlt20_*.nt Desc.: Trial bad photon sample; soon to be replaced with a new version. Taken from inclusive ''photon-like'' ntuple. Bad photons selected with same selection criteria as good photons except pchi < 20 replaced by pchi > 4 and a second CES cluster is required (pstre2 > 0.5 AND pwire2 > 0.5) rather than the good photon cut pcesflg(i) = .true. Number of events: Met(4) > 20; 5075 10 < Met(4) < 20; 130,105 4. New Bad Photon Dataset: Stripping still in progress (6/2) 5. Gamma-Met Monte Carlo: Ntuple Format: UCCDFO$DKA400:[DATA.CDF.ANA.CARLA.PHO]pythia_zg.ntp Desc.: Carla's Gamma-Met Monte Carlo that requires Z and a photon. The Z is then forced to nu nu-bar. Total integrated luminosity of the sample is 4.56 fb^-1. Number of events: 27000 ------------------------------------------------------------------ Last updated: Lorraine Sadler, June 15, 1999
