Inclusive Photon Datasets
(Ntuple Version)
Inclusive Photon-Like Dataset:
Created: September, 1997
Data Format: PAD files and University of Chicago
Standard Ntuple v5.0
Number of Files: 268 (Filenames)
Size: 27 GB (pad), 7 GB (nt)
Both pad and ntuple files for this dataset are archived on an AIT2 tape.
This tape is located in the brown cabinet on the left in the CDF lab,
next to the CDs.

Inclusive Good Photon Dataset:
Created: January 28, 1999
Data Format: University of Chicago
Standard Ntuple v5.0
Number of Files: 268 (Filenames)
Size: 2.5 Gig

The photon-like dataset was stripped from the GHIB tapes using a
simple Analysis Control filter which
selects isolated electromagnetic clusters with no attached
high Pt tracks. This reduced the 4M events on 46 GHIB tapes
to 1M events in PAD files stored on 12 8mm tapes at the
University of Chicago. All events were ntupled and the ntuples
reside on disk at Chicago.
The good photon dataset was stripped from the photon-like ntuples
using a ntuple filter which applies all
of our photon selection cuts. This reduced the 1M events in ntuples
to 300k events in ntuples on disk at Chicago.
These datasets and their properties are extensively documented in a
CDF Note.
