July 30, 2003 We have put a number of the MadGraph and Comphep samples in the DFC. Some are just HEPG banks, made with either Soushi Tsuno's module (mcProduction) or Sebastian Carron's module. (http://hep.uchicago.edu/cdf/Run2.html). Here is how I look at the DFC to find out what exists. There is an explicit `report' for MC datasets, but it is broken at the moment (Randy Herber knows about it's being broken, and is working on it). 1. Go to http://cdfdbb.fnal.gov:8520/cdfr2/databases 2. In the 3rd box down, change selection from `Data Quality' to `Data Catalog'. (The choice of `Monte Carlo' should work, but is the thing that's broken). Click on `Submit Request'. 3. In the 4th box down, change selection from `FILECATALOG(Curr.&Std.&Dflt.)' to `CDFPTOP' if Unki put the files in as Top MC Coordinator, for example (I'm not really sure how to find out where things are- this takes some trial-and-error, mostly error). Click on `Submit Request'. 4. In the 2nd box down (the lower of the two in `Selection Criteria'), type madgraph*, for example, to find madgraph datasets. The `*' is a wild-card. Click on `Submit Request'. HJF July 30,2003
